As a European New Zealander I applaud the Asian community in Auckland for having the energy to attempt to do something about the ever increasing appalling crime rate in this country.
Unfortunately nothing will change until our so called justice system is changed to reflect the views of law abiding citizens.
Nothing will change until our Police are given the powers to implement tougher crime prevention.
Nothing will change until the ordinary people insist on a radical re write of the way we treat the thugs in our society. And that does not include prisons with under floor heating, TV and hotel style custodial sentencing.
It is election year; beware of politicians bleating the ever lasting mantra, "We will get tough on crime"As soon as they are elected they will ignore the public will.
What you are doing is absolutely correct, when our elected officials fail us, then it is time to take action ourselves.
Please believe that it is not only the Asian community that wants tougher action against these thugs....WE ALL DO!

I totally agree with your views. The police can't win this war. So why can't we fight back with deadly action? NZ has followed in it Christian values to the point where criminals have it far too easy!

I think what Peter Low is doing is great, at least he's doing SOMETHING unlike this weak so called goverment. I would love to make a donation to support the protection of honest hard working people. At least Peter has the balls to do something about this problem...He must continue with his cause. Under this soft goverment that protects the criminals things will only get worse! Im glad he with the AAG is making a change!

Congratulations on your successful march against crime. Annette King's words is hollow and so the governement. We need to do what is right for ourselves. The police wil not help.

Well done. Just saw you
on TV. Good !
Keep up with the pressure.
Will continue to support you all.
Organise another demonstration
when the weather is better and even
more people will march. More than
20,000.
Join forces with other nationalities
(non-Asians) and see what happen.
Once the Labour and Nationals see
so many nationalities demanding
victims' rights, the politicians will
scramble for ACTIONS !!

Hi, I am a 37yr old, white / European Kiwi and just saw the news article on your group.
Good on you for doing what you have to stop the scumbags and assholes out there.
I fully support your initiative to look after your selves when the politically correct cowards in power do nothing. Well done.
Thomas
I very much support and appreciate your effort. I hope it will make a difference on how NZ deals with crime and reduces it trastically. Individuals should have the right to protect and defend themselves even proatively if their property or life is treatend and should not be 'criminalised' for doing so. I have never followed any standardised idiological or religious direction but I intend to support your work. I am sick of how criminals are overly correct dealt with while their terrorised victimes and their families suffer and struggle. Criminals need to be hold accountable and have to compensate and repay any loss and hardship caused to the full extend. The system of the NZ police is simply too reluctant, layback, underqualified, understaffed and fully of excuses to meet the expecations of the community. The education system does not reach most of such animal like criminals. By the way, my wife is Taiwanese and we have 3 adult children and I am thinking of leaving NZ again once our youngest has finished highschool or university because of the brainless matcho culture of NZ. Cheers
Chris
I am very happy to see that finally there is an organization claims that "we've got to look after ourselves". I fully support this idea! I think it would be far more comfortable for myself to be live in jail than dead on street. I would be more than happy to break the law and take the consequences of breaking the law than follow the stupid rules and be killed by criminals.
It is very important to send messages to the criminals and gangsters that we are not easy targets.
Gisele
Just to say, you have my wholehearted support. We, as a nation, have been let down by a governement more interested in its self serving beaurocracy, with its endless committees and reviews, etc than common sense.I admire the asian community immensely, and this initiative has my full support.
