TV 1“ Sunday” 栏目组拍摄Peter Low 教女性自我防卫

8月10日星期日下午,TV One的时事调查栏目“Sunday”(《星期日》)的制作小组在位于奥克兰东区 East Tamaki Peter Low先生的公司里拍摄了一组Peter Low 教女性如何自我防护的镜头。

由于许多亚裔女性特别是华人女性有被抢包的惨痛经历,7·5 大游行的组织者Peter Low先生深感有必要教会女性一些安全常识和自我防护的常识。星期天下午两点,他的第一节课开始了。虽然发布广告的时间很短,但还是有大约30来位小姐、女士和她们的男友、丈夫一起赶来听课。来的人以华人为主,也有印度裔人和白人,有的还是从西区大老远赶来的。

Peter Low 先生虽然不是老师出身、虽然话题本身也很严肃,可Peter Low却把课讲得非常生动有趣,幽默感十足。他不但有讲解,而且还有演示 - 请台下的小姐、太太们走上讲台来合作做进行示范。他教听众们如何防止手袋被抢,如何应对遇到的不法之徒等等。听众们反响特别热烈,常常发出会心的笑声,并且还当场提出各种问题。Peter Low用英文讲课,他的助手现场做中文翻译,“Sunday”栏目组主持人、新西兰著名记者Cameron Bennett先生、摄像师 Clinton Bruce先生和制片人Dale Owens 先生都听得很入神,时不时也会忍俊不住笑起来。

下课之后,记者随机采访了几位女士,她们都认为课程非常实用,有帮助,还说会推荐她们的朋友和同事们前来听课。

Peter Low 先生告诉记者,他很乐意把防卫常识告诉更多的女士们,他说只要有需要,他会把课一直教下去。当然,这是免费课程。Peter Low 说帮助华人朋友预防歹徒伤害、保护社区安全是他、也是 AAG 义不容辞的责任。

“Sunday”栏目对拍摄到亚裔女性提高安全防范意识、自发学习自我防卫技能的鲜活镜头非常高兴。主持人Cameron对我说:节目组就是想表现民间这种对付犯罪的积极态度。

“Sunday”栏目这档表现亚裔社区对抗犯罪的节目预计将在9月7日星期日晚7点播出。敬请留意。摄制组成员已经花了几个星期的时间在亚裔社区进行采访和拍摄,目前制作工作仍在进行。
